The Design Collective is a London-based communications partner for UK and international design-focused brands and businesses wanting to raise their profiles and grow in new markets through inspiring campaigns, public relations and brand collaborations.

We are a small team of experienced senior-level marketing and communications professionals who offer a personal approach to each project. We devise strategic and bespoke national and international campaigns that deliver tangible results, and work to become an extension of our clients’ businesses to support and realise their goals. AMY DOLLAMORE, FOUNDER

Amy is a highly experienced PR who has worked within the design sector for 15 years. As director at a leading international design PR agency, Amy managed a global client portfolio working with prestigious design, architecture and lifestyle brands including B&B Italia, Bernhardt Design, The Conran Shop, Established & Sons, Skandium, Kelly Hoppen, Lee Broom, Zaha Hadid Architects and Yves Béhar/Fuseproject.  

This was followed by a role within Swarovski’s corporate communications team responsible for global architecture and design projects. At Swarovski, Amy developed and implemented high-profile international PR campaigns for launches and brand events in Milan, Basel, Venice, Miami and London.

Amy has excellent editor-level media contacts in the UK and worldwide, achieving feature coverage and product placement in national, consumer, online, and design trade publications and digital platforms.

Susanna Joicey-Cecil

Susanna has been working in the luxury and design sector for 15 years, most recently as Marketing Director at leading design brand The Rug Company. 

During her 12-year tenure at The Rug Company, Susanna was instrumental in creating the global brand that it is today. Her strengths are varied, with her expertise ranging from omni-channel communications, strategy and planning, budgeting, PR, advertising, events, digital marketing and social media, content creation and print. She was also responsible for licensing and designer relations. Before The Rug Company, Susanna was an Account Director at Camron PR, where her clients included Rockwell Group, Bisazza, Jane Packer Flowers and Twyford Bathrooms.

Susanna understands the need to approach every client in a holistic manner, taking time to fully grasp each business’ priorities and challenges and delivering a tailored strategy accordingly. In today’s ever-changing and competitive market, Susanna believes it is imperative for companies to develop a clear voice which can be communicated creatively across multiple platforms.

Susanna has built a strong network of industry and editorial relationships in the worlds of interiors, architecture, fashion and lifestyle. She strongly believes a modern communications partner should work as a valued member of the client’s team.
